Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Mac Cormack, Unipessoal LDA, trading as Obsidis ("Obsidis", "we", "us"). We are based in Porto, Portugal, registered under NIF PT519109511.

For anything about your data, email us at hello@obsidis.tech. We are the controller of the personal data described below.

Nothing collected through the site itself

There are no forms on this site. No contact form, no newsletter, no sign-up, no account. You can read every page without telling us who you are.

Server access logs

Like any hosted website, our server keeps standard access logs. Each request records your IP address, the timestamp, the URL requested, and your browser's user agent. We use these logs for security and troubleshooting only.

What you send us by email

The only way you share personal data with us directly is by emailing hello@obsidis.tech. If you do, we receive whatever you choose to include, typically your name, your email address, and the content of your message.

What third parties receive

Fonts load from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). This sends your IP address to Google every time you load a page. It happens because we use those typefaces, not because we chose to share anything.

If you click "Book a call", you leave this site for Calendly at calendly.com/hello-obsidis/30min. Nothing is embedded, nothing is sent to Calendly unless you click through. Anything you enter there is handled by Calendly under Calendly's own privacy policy.

Under the GDPR, we process:

• Access logs on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)), keeping the site secure and diagnosing problems. This is standard server operation, not profiling.
• Email correspondence on the basis of contract, or consent where you write to us before any agreement exists. You gave us the data; we use it to reply.

Access logs are kept for 90 days, then deleted.

Email correspondence is kept for 24 months after our last exchange with you, then deleted, unless a signed client agreement requires us to keep it longer, in which case that agreement governs.

Two third parties can receive personal data in connection with this site: Google (via Google Fonts, always) and Calendly (only if you click through to book a call). Neither receives anything from us, the data flows directly from your browser or your booking.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. With anyone. Ever.

Google and Calendly are US companies, so when they receive your IP address or booking details, that is a transfer outside the EEA. Both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which is the transfer mechanism relied on for those transfers.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, and port your personal data, and the right to object to its processing.

To exercise any of them, email hello@obsidis.tech. Tell us what you want; we may ask one question to confirm who you are. We respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with our supervisory authority, the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados), at www.cnpd.pt.

This site sets no cookies and writes nothing to localStorage. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. That is the entire section.

This site is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has emailed us, tell us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy, we update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. The date above is 22 September 2026. If a change is material, for example, if we ever add a form or analytics, we will say so plainly here.
